I have been working with Tideway to see if a Final Salary Pension Transfer was a good idea and the service provided by the team has been outstanding. Their website is very informative and Tideway provide all the information required to make such an important decision at no cost with no commitment or upfront fees. They are happy to carry out a full review of your FSP and provide professional advice leaving you free to make a decision with no pressure or obligation to proceed. I have subsequently asked Tideway to manage the FSPT on my behalf and invest the funds with AJ Bell. I would be happy to recommend Tideway to anyone thinking of a transfer and can vouch for their professionalism, integrity and honesty with no hidden fees or miscellaneous charges.
I would like to thank the team at Tideway for helping me to transfer both my ITV and USS pensions into my SIPP and my partner’s ITV pension into his SIPP.
Particular thanks to my adviser who has been brilliant throughout the whole process - Professional, friendly and always responded to our emails, phone calls and queries in what I guess has been a particularly busy time for Tideway!
Excellent service all round exactly what we wanted - Professional, efficient, friendly, modern and good value. Thanks again
Good Afternoon, Tideway
Thank you very much indeed for your time over the phone last week. It was very pleasant indeed talking with you and I'd like to thank both Tideway and Ferguson Oliver for all their help these past few months! Thanks too for your recent e-mail and accompanying forms.
As Britain becomes more and more of an ageing population, as professional people you'll become busier and busier - and it's great that there are companies out there for "old ones" like me to choose from. In fact, as I'm in the oil drilling (or, rather, was!) industry it's vital that 59 year olds such as myself have access to companies/people such as Ferguson Oliver and Tideway - otherwise, where would we go? As a drilling engineer used to living my life on oil rigs / platforms / in the rain forest / in the desert I simply would not have a clue. As an engineer, I understand metals and pressures - I do not understand money!
Therefore I would like to thank both Ferguson Oliver and Tideway for all their help, understanding and advice! I'd simply be a bum in Bombay drinking cheap gin otherwise! (Believe me, it happens in quite extraordinary numbers!)
Just to confirm that my transfer has finally happened!
Thank you to all concerned at Tideway for the work done.
I will be recommending your services to anyone that may need them.
A quick note to commend the work of your adviser, who in recent weeks has promptly put together a DB transfer report for me and offered timely and practical suggestions for various issues as they arose.
Though I have elected not to transfer the DB pension to my pre-existing SIPP at this stage, if I need to do so in the future I will hope to return to Tideway.
I would like to express my thanks to the staff at Tideway who dealt with my transfer. They were very helpful and kept me informed at all times throughout the process of transferring from my previous final salary scheme. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is considering using their services.
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you for the speed, efficiency and amiable way in which you have dealt with myself and my clients. You have turned round their pension transfers inside a very tight deadline after the previous DB specialist/IFA had taken the best part of 9 months to do not a lot! It is fair to say my clients were getting to their wits end with the time it was taking so to have it turned around and the funds transferred to their provider of choice in around 6 weeks is phenomenal and has put me in a great position with them moving forwards. I would not hesitate to recommend your services to other financial services professionals as well as to any other clients needing advice in the DB transfer arena. I look forward to working with you again in the future.
